At Progressive Minds, I believe that whether you are a small or large workplace…

I start by consulting with you and any key stakeholders to find out about your current priorities and any challenges that you may be facing. 

I am realistic and understand that sometimes financial and time constraints may mean that you can’t implement everything right now and that’s fine, some of my clients now have aims for the next 3 years.

My Approach

I love supporting my clients to develop strategies, new skills and action plans that increases their awareness to address their balance, to become more productive or achieve a better overall well-being. My aim is to help my clients to become their best self, by tackling stress, preventing burnout and increasing their focus.

Mental Health in the Workplace (MHW) 1 day

Suitable for anyone who has Line Manager responsibility or wants to increase their awareness of Mental Health and how to support/ it in the workplace.

  • Recognising possible signs and symptoms of a person that has mental ill-health
  • Understanding Mental Health and its stigma
  • Using a Mental Health Action Plan to help those in crisis or need
  • Finding external professional help and guidance
  • The law in relation to mental health and the workplace
  • Best Practice in the workplace e.g. when helping someone to stay in work or return to work

Mental Health and Wellbeing in the workplace (MHWB) 2 day

Suitable for anyone who has line Manager responsibility, who is responsible for staff wellbeing or wants to increase their awareness of mental health and wellbeing and how they can influence it in the workplace.

  • Understanding Mental health and its stigma 
  • Using a Mental Health Plan to help those in crisis or need

  • Promoting well-being in the workplace and how you can become an Ambassador for Mental Health and Well-being

Coaching and mentoring programmes

Progressive minds help professionals and organisations to take control of how they manage their mental health, wellbeing and performance by helping them to find solutions. If you are an organisation wanting to offer coaching 1:1 or to a small group we have coaching and mentoring programmes available to suit all.

Following a needs assessment, a bespoke programme will be designed and shared with you. We will agree the aims and desired outcomes of theprogramme or session to ensure that you get complete value for money and the desired outcomes for the individual or group.

We coach in wellbeing, careers, home life and overall performance.

If you are an individual and you would like to take advantage of our 1 hour Wellbeing or Career Coaching session for only £99 or whether you would like to be part of our 12- week group mentoring programme where we share coping strategies and skills for life, we tackle areas such as sleep, wellbeing, mindfulness, and mindset.

First aid training

We are accredited by The First Aid Industry Body, all our courses can be offered with the option of some of our e-book learning, however it is very important to us, that the training that we provide, is of the highest standard and where possible we advise face to face training.

Our Paediatric course meets OFSTED requirements and is for anyone working with babies or children or for parents.

It is a government requirement that all newly qualified staff, working with primary or Early Years children or infants, complete a Paediatric First Aid course.

We will also let you know if you are eligible for an ‘in Safe Hands Award’.

The courses we deliver are:

• FIRST AID AT WORK (18 HOURS)
• PARENTS & CHILDCARERS FIRST AID (2 HOURS)
• EMERGENCY PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID (6 HOURS)
• PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID (12 HOURS)
• FIRST AID ANNUAL REFRESHER (3 HOURS)
• FIRST AID AT WORK REFRESHER (12 HOURS)
• BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AND DEFIBRILLATOR TRAINING (3 HOURS)
• EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK AND EMERGENCY PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID (6 HOURS)
